Il promo di Dusty Rhodes della puntata di Raw dello scorso 9 luglio è stato improvvisato al 90% dalla leggenda del ring. Rhodes ha avuto dai booker i punti principali che avrebbe dovuto trattare e poi ha parlato a braccio.

Secondo alcune pubblicità radiofoniche trasmesse nei giorni scorsi nella zona di Sacramento (CA), John Cena difenderà il titolo contro Randy Orton durante il prossimo Monday Night RAW che andrà in scena nella Arco Arena. Per lo show è stata pubblicizzata anche la presenza di Lashley, Mr. Kennedy e King Booker.

Ron Simmons da semplice personaggio on-screen è diventato ufficialmente un wrestler di Raw, dal momento che il suo profilo è stato inserito tra quelli delle stelle dello show rosso presenti su wwe.com.

Raw ha ottenuto un rating del 3.4 (con entrambe le ore che hanno fatto registrare un 3.4). Il tutto rappresenta un leggero miglioramento rispetto a quello della scorsa settimana (che era stato di 3.3), ma non è comunque un buon risultato visto che il totale rimane abbastanza basso, ben lontano dallla soglia dei 4.0 auspicata dalla WWE. Probabile comunque che il programma torni a catturare nuovi ascolti con il ritorno dei lottatori sospesi a partire dalla prossima settimana.

Mr. Kennedy lunedì dovrebbe tornare a Raw dopo la sospensione che lo ha tenuto lontano dal ring nelle ultime settimane. Ken potrebbe intervenire in favore di Vince McMahon nel match che il Chairman della WWE avrà contro Triple H.
