La WWE ha già le idee chiare su almeno tre match della card di Armageddon, PPV che chiuderà gli show a pagamento del 2007 il 16 dicembre.

Il main event di Smackdown! dovrebbe essere un Triple Threat Match per il titolo mondiale tra il detentore Batista, Undertaker ed il neo-rientrato Edge.

E' iniziato anche un feud tra Jeff Hardy e Snitsky, ma difficile che i due si incontrino one on one al PPV. Più probabile il match di coppia Jeff Hardy & Triple H vs. Snitsky & Umaga.

Per quanto riguarda il WWE Title invece pare che Randy Orton dovrà difenderlo contro Chris Jericho. C'è chi non è d'accordo in federazione nel mandare subito Y2J per il titolo contro il Legend Killer, ma sembra che la cosa sia prevista dal nuovo contratto di Jericho con la WWE.

La WWE ha annunciato sul suo sito internet ufficiale che Randy Orton, in seguito all'intervento di Chris Jericho a favore di Ric Flair nel main event dell'ultimo Raw che è costato la vittoria al Legend Killer, ha accettato la sfida lanciatagli da Y2J per il titolo WWE.

Orton ha accettato la sfida al termine della puntata di Raw, ed il video esclusivo dell'accaduto sarà visibile solo agli abbonati al servizio WWE Mobile on AT&T. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho per il WWE Title andrà in scena ad Armageddon.

Quando la WWE ha filmato il suo Tributo alle truppe durante la scorsa settimana, Randy Orton aveva ancora alla vita il suo WWE Title.

Considerando che lo speciale per le truppe andrà in onda dopo Armageddon (che, invece, andrà in onda questa domenica sera), pare altamente probabile che Randy Orton batterà Chris Jericho e conserverà il titolo nel PPV di domenica.

I due wrestler che hanno interpretato i falsi Edge nel main event di Armageddon altri non erano che i Major Brothers. Nella storyline, Brian & Brett hanno deciso di allearsi con Edge in cambio della promessa da parte della Rated R Superstar di aiutarli a vincere i WWE Tag Team Titles. Con l'appoggio di Vickie Guerrero, i Major Brothers avranno molto presto una title shot per le cinture detenute da John Morrison & The Miz.

I pop più grandi della serata sono andati a favore di Chris Jericho quando ha chiuso Randy Orton nella Walls of Jericho, all'incredibile pin di Jeff Hardy su Triple H e ad Undertaker durante la sua entrata.

Lillian Garcia ha avuto un piccolo incidente durante Armageddon, sembra infatti che la bella annunciatrice di RAW sia caduta proprio prima di annunciare Beth Phoenix come vincitrice del match per il titolo femminile.
La Garcia non è nuova a queste disavventure, se ben ricordate venne infortunata da uno scontro con Charlie Haas durante i tapings di RAW nel giugno 2006. Tapings che si svolsero proprio a Pittsburg.

Un articolo in piena keyfabe su WWE.com racconta come abbia fatto Edge a convincere i Major Brothers ad aiutarlo nel corso del Main Event di Armageddon. Edge ha persuaso i due fratelli che standogli accanto ed aiutandosi a vicenda (e con la benevolenza della General Manager Vickie Guerrero) essi arriveranno al traguardo che più ambiscono: le Cinture di Tag Team Champions di Smackdown.
